Cooktops, Hobs, Cooking Range

  • Connect appliance to gas cylinder by fitting the free end of the rubber tube to the inlet connection nozzle. In case of cooking range and hobs, the electric connection should be plugged in appropriately.The rubber tubing should be laid in such a manner so as to avoid sharp bends.
  • While lighting the burner, first open the gas valve on the cylinder. Bring a lighted matchstick to the burner which is to be lit, then push the relevant knob and turn it to the “ON” position. In case of auto-ignition models, first push the relevant knob and turn to ‘ON’ position, then press the auto-ignition spark button to light the burner.
  • While putting off the burner, first close the regulating valve provided with the cylinder and then turn the stove knob to “OFF” position.
  • The cylinder should not be tilted horizontally while in use.
  • Take care to avoid spillage while cooking as this may result in extinguishing of flame and clogging of burner holes.
  • Before removing a dish from the burner, switch off the appropriate knob.
  • Do not try to dismantle or repair the gas valves, jets or the nozzle yourself, as this will damage the product.
  • Always wipe the appliance clean after every use.
  • The premises in which, the appliance has to be used should be properly ventilated.
  • Before using, check all the connections properly. There should not be any leakage from any point.
  • Never use a strong detergent to clean the cooktop, hob, cooking range and its parts as this may result in irreparable damage.
  • This appliance is for house hold use only. Do not use this appliance outdoors.
  • Repairs if any, should only be assigned to an authorized service personal.

Small Appliances

  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the one mentioned on the rating label of the appliance.
  • Make sure that the power cord is not placed near/on a sharp object.
  • Make sure that the power cord does not hang over an edge of a table or counter.
  • Please check the power cord for any signs of damage from time to time. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if the appliance malfunctions or is damaged in any manner. Please take it to the nearest authorized service centre for examination and repairs.
  • Please ensure that the main/power socket is also in good condition. This appliance can easily get damage due to poor contacts.
  • Always use the appliance on a flat and a stable surface.
  • Never use the appliance on or near hot surfaces. Do not use this appliance in high temperature environment.
  • In order to protect against an electric shock, do not immerse the power cord, plug, or the appliance in water or any other liquids.
  • Avoid the use of an extension cord/multiple plug to operate the appliance, as it may overheat and cause a risk of fire. Do not share the socket with other appliances.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experiences and knowledge, unless they have been given instruction for use of the appliance or are in supervision of the person responsible for their safety.
  • While operating the appliance, please ensure that there is a clear distance of 15 cm from a wall, etc., from all sides.
  • Never use this appliance on carpet, table cloth or something similar as it may block the air vents located underneath the appliance, thus influencing the heat dissipation from within the product cavity.
  • Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
